Alfie Gentle

First hand observation of different landscapes are Alfie’s most important tool. As an elementary school teacher with summers free, these observations are attained as he participates in his two favorite pastimes- Landscaping and sailing. Alfie enjoys working in his flower garden as well as the peace and tranquility of sailing on the beautiful lake of the woods in Ontario.Much of Alfie’s work has been sold across North America and a few of his paintings made their way to places as far away as Japan and Australia. Victor Tssessaze

Victor is a Denesuline from Northlands First Nation in Lac Brochet, Manitoba. He has been drawing and painting all his life and his artwork reflects the traditional stories of First Nations people. A graduate from the University of Manitoba, Victor also is very active in traditional aspects of First Nations people. Victor has lived a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle for many years. The traditional stories and songs of his people have been passed on to him by the Dene elders of his community and he continues sharing them with the different Nations. View More..
